Every player gives you the same channels. The only difference is how the player is linked to your account.

Recommended
HotPlayer – nothing to type
Install the app, send us a photo of the start screen showing the MAC address – we do the rest. Ideal if you don't want to type with the remote.

Works like HotPlayer but also shows a device key. Both on one photo are all we need to activate you.

You enter username, password and server address (Xtream) or an M3U address yourself – handy if you want to keep your usual app.

Activation in three steps

1Install the player on your device – the steps are below.
2Open the app and take a photo of the start screen with the MAC address (and device key, if shown).
3Send the photo via WhatsApp or email. After activation, close and reopen the app – your channels are there.

Amazon Fire TV & Fire TV Stick

The most popular way to get IPTV on your TV – small, affordable, quick to set up.

HotPlayer from the Amazon Appstore

1Open search (magnifier) on the home screen.
2Type “HotPlayer” or search for it with the voice remote.
3Select the app and click “Download”.
4Launch the app – the MAC address is shown right on the start screen.

App not in the Appstore? Use Downloader

1Open Settings → My Fire TV → About and click the device name seven times until developer options are unlocked.
2Under My Fire TV → Developer options, turn on “Apps from unknown sources”.
3Install and open the free “Downloader” app from the Appstore.
4Enter the code 395800, click “Go” and install the app.

TiviMate: Modern programme guide, made for the remote.
IPTV Smarters Pro: Log in with Xtream details or an M3U address.

Good to know

Power the stick with the supplied adapter, not the TV's USB port.
If the picture stutters, 5 GHz Wi-Fi or Amazon's Ethernet adapter helps.
If the app hangs: Settings → Applications → select the app → Clear cache.

Samsung Smart TV

For TVs running Tizen – no extra device needed.

1Press Home and open Apps in the Smart Hub.
2Search for “HotPlayer”.
3Click “Install”.
4Open the app and read the MAC address from the start screen.

Smart One IPTV: Runs reliably on older and newer Tizen models.
IPTV Smarters Pro: Log in with username, password and server address.
SS IPTV: Free alternative if other apps are missing for your model.

Good to know

If an app isn't available for your model, a Fire TV Stick in the HDMI port is the easiest fix.
If the app hangs, unplug the TV for a minute – only that truly restarts it.
Keep the software current: Settings → Support → Software update.

LG Smart TV

For TVs running webOS – straight from the LG store.

2Search for “HotPlayer” using the magnifier.
3Select “Install”.
4Launch the app – the MAC address appears immediately.

Check for updates: Settings → General → About this TV.

1In Settings under Security (or Privacy), allow installing unknown apps.
2Install the “Downloader” app from the Play Store.
3Enter code 395800 and install the app.

Good to know

Connect external boxes to the router with a LAN cable where possible.
If the box has little memory, close apps you're not using.

On the go, choose a lower resolution in the app settings to save data.

Good to know

Tap the Cast icon to send the stream to a Chromecast or Google TV.
On mobile data, set 720p to save data.

PC & Mac

At your desk, on a laptop or on a projector.

Quickest: VLC

1Download VLC free from videolan.org and install it.
2Open a network stream – Windows: Media → Open Network Stream (Ctrl + N), Mac: File → Open Network (cmd + N).
3Paste the M3U address from our email and play.
4The playlist shows all channels (Windows: Ctrl + L, Mac: Window → Playlist).

With TV guide: Kodi

1Install Kodi from kodi.tv.
2Open Add-ons → My add-ons → PVR clients → PVR IPTV Simple Client.
3Under “Configure”, enter the M3U address and the EPG address, enable it and restart Kodi.
4Your channels are then under “TV”.

Other suitable players

VLC: Free and ready instantly – but without a TV guide.
IPTV Smarters: For Windows and macOS, Xtream login, with TV guide.
Kodi: Free, with a programme guide just like on TV.

Good to know

At a desk, a LAN cable is worth it.
If VLC stutters, raise the network cache under Tools → Preferences to about 3000 ms.
An HDMI cable puts the laptop picture on your TV.

MAG box & Enigma2

For classic IPTV boxes and receivers.

Enter the portal on the MAG box

1Press SET during start-up to open the box menu.
2Open Settings → System Settings → Portals.
3Enter any name under “Portal 1 Name” and the portal address from our email under “Portal 1 URL”.
4Save with OK and restart the box.

Good to know

Give us your box's MAC address (on the sticker underneath) when you order.
For Enigma2 receivers we send the right login details for your plugin.
MAG boxes run most reliably on a LAN cable; delete old, unused portals.

What internet speed do I need?

As a rule of thumb: around 10 Mbit/s per stream in HD and at least 25 Mbit/s for 4K. If several devices are in use at once, add the values up. A LAN cable or good 5 GHz Wi-Fi at the TV often helps more than a faster plan.
